Hi Borg

I have had bobotie a couple of times and just loved it.
"hond se kierie" is not a dish, but an expression to describe something one likes a lot eg. food/car/clothes. I must say it is mostly used in the rural areas of RSA.
Where are you from?

There is an SA restaurant in Atlanta.

I have never been there myself.

10 Degrees South

I've been to this restuarant and it is very good. They have great South African decor and the restaurant is owned and run by South Africans. They have bobotie and braiied meats among other menu choices. They also have a good selection of South African wines and a cozy, fun bar. Unfortunately they don't have the wonderful seafood you can get in South Africa -- like prawns and langoustines. They are just too expensive to import here.

Two thumbs up for the SA restaurant down in Hotlanta, (better known as Atlanta for our friends)with an extensive wine list to complement my favorite braiied meats.

Some of the Koh Samui villas are set on peaceful hills adjoining sea. So, when a sea wave hits the big boulders below, you are actually able to experience some butterflies in your stomachs. Such is the experience of the exotic locales where these Samui villas are located. The villas are located in peaceful places, but not much far from action. You can anytime visit the flee market to buy exotic sea shells, or belts made from fish’s skin for you dear and near ones.
