"What about the atrocities that the whites committed against blacks over the past 300 years? Karma has a way of coming back at you. "

True horrible atrocities were comitted but the world in 2002 is VERY different place to 300 years ago. Violence and agrandisement were a way a life in both black and white worlds. (See European conflict and Shaka Zulus wanton slaughter of other black trives, far worse than all those commited by whites in SA throughout history).

You cannot deny that the inhabitants of Southern Africa were very primitive when compared to 17 century Europe I those times the dominant culture pervailed (and still does, althogh usualy through assimilation rather than violent upheaval).

This is a plain and simple fact. It does not make what happened right. What apartheid did was try to keep the blacks in the primitive form in which they were "found". This is where apartheid was wrong.

Blacks were denied the opportunity to become equal (inferior education etc). I do not believe for one minute that blacks are inherently inferior, through education and time they will be the same. It is important they do so otherwise our country is doomed.

In addition and economy is not owned It is created, built up and maintained. Whites control it because they are responsible for its development and sustainability. Blacks need to be empowered through education and skills development to become apart of it. Replacing white managers with black ones will do stuff all. The economy needs to grow to address the needs of the populations. A takeover will achieve nothing Even if current SA blacs had the education and skill levels to do it. It's going to take time, but because blacks are not genetically inferior it is achievable.

Two Wrongs = Right.

Right?

Get even against people who are no longer alive.

Logical....

Some people seem to be misunderstanding the Zim situation altogether.

It is NOT black vs white, in fact blacks are suffering far more than any white farmer. Mugabe is clinging to power using whatever means possible. If there wasn't a land injustice he would find another excuse to root out opposition.

If some of what I've read about Mugbe is right, the man is a psychopath, and doesn't care for anyone other than Mugbe.

However, he uses the whites in the same way Hitler used the Jews: He blames them for everything that's wrong in his country and encourages his people to attack and kill them.

That is true. He is definitely using whites as a scapegoat. However far more blacks have been killed and beaten up since he launched his campaign of terror. He has even mobilised the army in Matabeleland province where he slaughtered his [black] political opponents shortly after independence.

He is Shona.

The fact is that if free and fair elections where allowed to take place, Mugabe would be unemployed. A situation he is trying to avoid and doesn't care about anybody but himself.

Free and fair elections? In which African country? That would be an interesting concept.

Some of the Koh Samui villas are set on peaceful hills adjoining sea. So, when a sea wave hits the big boulders below, you are actually able to experience some butterflies in your stomachs.
