Poeple can see the difference between a south african and Non even if u have lived here in sa for a while. Just be sharp and carefull hwo you deal iwth in SA.

In our business we deals with tourists all the time and only put forward our best , we show people the rough areas if they'd like to see it but make them aware that there are alos splendid areas such as that of all countries.

SA has a lot to offer and i hope one day the crime is under control..... for those that live here, stay here its ur country and you make it your country by being here, for those that are visiting, this country needs inetrnational support and is a flourishing african country....

if ever you here call us to see SA from a whole new angle.

Look after your self and you will be okay

South Africa is a beautiful country and the crime shouldn't stop you coming and enjoying yourself. most of the areas frequented by tourists are well policed, I live in Cape Town and can see how it is being stepped up all over the place, you have to take some precautions though:-

1)keep your car doors locked and be wary at the traffic lights, keep some distance between yourself and the next car just in case
2)don't walk around at night in unpoliced areas or without a large group

Keep well
