I use a road map that is available for download at CABS Car hire South Africa website, it is about 2mb in size, so depending on your internet connection, it can be a bit slow to load.

Why not just use Google Maps, The official Cape Town map forgot to put our small street in, but there it is on Google maps. Plus you have street level view too in some areas.
