Having been to the USA and to England I can draw a CONTRAST between one BLACK PERSON and another. My observations on the Black Person in the USA can be applied to South Africas Blacks also, I think.
The ration of Blacks in the populations is aprox. the same
in the USA and England. In the USA the Blacks have a much harder time to become productive members of society than they do in England. While they have made big progress, still there is a difference in general. Why is that? Well, in my opinion it is the 200+ years of abuse, denial of education, denial of jobs, denial of equality. In the USA equal oppertunity laws did not fully kick in until late 1960s. Even today, there is some discrimination. In England
they did not have to deal with the same type of discrimination.
What about South Africa? I think the analogy between the USA and England applies here also. The Blacks have to overcome the long period of DISCRIMINATION and it's effects before they can be fully productive. I am sure that they are on the way to do just that.

Here's one for the evolutionists
[an error occurred while processing this directive][an error occurred while processing this directive][an error occurred while processing this directive]I had a long argument with someone the other day. My argument was that, should one remove an average rural black African baby from it's mother at birth and raise him in circumstances similar to a middle class American or European family, he will grow up to be a middle class American or European.
The other gentleman however was of the opinion that through natural selection, the African gene pool developed in a different direction than the European one. Where the people in Europe had to be more genetically adapted to European circumstances, where intelligence and more left-breined thought processes were needed to survive, the people in Africa were genetically more adapted to circumstances here, like the higher percentage of sunshine (therefore higher melanine in the skin) and living of the land as hunter-gatherers and nomads. They were therefore evolved as less intelligent in the analytical sense, but more practically inclined, physically stronger etc. to survive in the African continent.
Any thoughts on that?

Soois, the effect of environment on a person just re-enforces the SCIENCE of EVOLUTION.
I have one for you though. Somewhere it is written that
GOD created HUMANS in his/her own IMAGE. Considering that the early models of HUMANS were UGLY, HAIRY, STUPID, what does that tell you about your GOD?

Sometime it is hard to tell which side of the fence you occupy.

Have I once, anywhere on this forum suggested that I disagree with the Darwinist theory of Natural Selection and Evolution?

Me sit on a fence! hahahaha! Never! I am too opinionated for that.
I am unbiased, I defend all sides, or at least have a point of view for both sides.
