i live in canada , toronto. i have an intrest in sustainable development in africa. and would like to eventualy come and work in africa. i have a architecture degree and eventualy would like to do a masters in development issues. email norfield

doccy, sustainable development is in my definition a community driven procces which adds to both the betterment of the community and the environment, providing employment food, housing which allows for stable longterm growth with out damaging both the natural and human environment.. the solution to problems must be community driven, and start small expanding out wards..from what i have seen and read about..

Why do you make up your own definitions? Sounds to me like your describing, development, or rebuilding of communities.

you have a wonderfull idea and something in SA like that is definately needed. i wish you all the best of luck! SA is very baeutiful and will always be my home even though i now live in the USA..i will be back there in 2 months for a short vacation..i have really missed it...pity everything is getting ruined so quickly...
and FRED why do you always have such stupid responses and comments...are you an attention seekeer and this is your way of getting some attention???
