Hi, I´m a born South African girl now living in Cologne/Germany. I miss the beautiful Country with all its ups and downs. Would love to know if there are more South Africans living in Germany. So get your computer started and write Pleeeaaasssee. Cheers Nicky

Hi there,

My name is Heidi and my husband, son and I moved to Ludwigsburg (close to Stuttgart) in Feb 2001. I'm 30 years old, missing SA terribly as well and would love to have more chats to South Africans via the Net. Hope to hear a little more about yourself soon.

Hi Caly
Glad to see you still here in Germany. Maybe we could keep in touch and then it won't be so "boring" in Germany. What are you doing in Germany? Hope to hear from you.
Homani

Mail from Mars

Hey Nicki,
I'm from Jhb. Been living and working in Hamburg for the last 4 years and guess I'll continue
until 2007 before returning and settling down in Durbs. But, Jeeze, it's a long, long time to go.
How do you get along with the people here???? Do you also keep on getting admonished about
how to "behave" ? They seem to take pleasure in killing the joy of living overhere. Just hope, one day, after I've gone back, I'll be able to take a deep breath and laugh it all off.

But it's better to focus on what's enjoyable. Every second year I take a trip back home. Last time was in April this year. I find travelling from Europe somewhat "easier" than from SA. Got a long list of destinations I still want to visit. Next year I'll be off to Singapore/Malaysia. Never been to the "East" before. Have you? Let me know if you got experience about where to go and what to see. Want to stay a night or two at the Raffles.

Don't know about Köln, but in Hamburg there are no South African venues. In London they seem to have a pub or two where South Africans hang out. But not overhere. Put an SA flag sticker on my car which produced zilch response so far. And yet there must be quite a few people in Germany who have some sort of affiliation with SA - I'm pretty sure.

If you feel like writing back some time, you can also get in touch at (don't laugh- it's just a bit of nostalgia) ... skukuza

Keep well, and have a nice day,
Rob

Some of the Koh Samui villas are set on peaceful hills adjoining sea. So, when a sea wave hits the big boulders below, you are actually able to experience some butterflies in your stomachs. Such is the experience of the exotic locales where these Samui villas are located. The villas are located in peaceful places, but not much far from action. You can anytime visit the flee market to buy exotic sea shells, or belts made from fish’s skin for you dear and near ones.
