Hi Everybody

I'm sorry that I've frightened every one away from my discussions. I just feel like talking to someone that is going to talk to me in Afrikaans, and not in English all the time. I would be very happy if it is the slang Afrikaans. Thanks

I wouldn't say you've scared anyone away.. :-) This board had been relatively quiet (Aside from one a week posting) for quite some time

Thanks
I thought I was left in the dessert, even though I live close to a dessert.I actually discovered that another South African chat room is much more fun. If you want to take a look it's http://www.rsa-overseas.com, hope you have fun.

You can go to Brainbench.com ( I think that is he adress, if not, just use your search engine to find it.) It offers many courses in many different subjects, including Afrikaans.

Umm. I may be missing something, or doing something wrong - but I couldn't find any Afrikaans related things there... Can you give me a more specific URL?

SORRY there Brett

it seems as if they have removed Afrikaans, there is another site, which may help, just go to........... languages-on-the-web.com

Ps. I hope that site will do.

Some of the Koh Samui villas are set on peaceful hills adjoining sea. So, when a sea wave hits the big boulders below, you are actually able to experience some butterflies in your stomachs. Such is the experience of the exotic locales where these Samui villas are located. The villas are located in peaceful places, but not much far from action. You can anytime visit the flee market to buy exotic sea shells, or belts made from fish’s skin for you dear and near ones.
