Searching for family of John Donaldson, his birthdate was Sept.19th 1931

I am searching for family and would greatly appreciate any help anyone could give me. My birth father (John Donaldson) was killed in March, 1957 in Brithish Columbia, Canada. He was born on Sept.19th/1931 in South Africa. His parents and brothers and sisters lived in South Africa in 1957. His fathers name is Harold Donaldson.
John Donaldson worked as a driver for an ambulance company in British Columbia, Canada. He was in Canada for 4 years.
That is pretty much all I know at this time. Thank-you for taking the time to read this posting and I hope someone will have some information that might help me in this search.

Hi! Debb,
Can't help directly - But I live in Ireland and there are lots of Donaldson's in Northern Ireland who hale from Scotland in the past - Lots of nothern Irish connections with Canada - might be a way to go.
