Can anyone out there help me on this one.

I am married to an S.A. Citizen for six years now, with one dependant (S.A. Citizen) and another on the way (to be an S.A. Citizen).

My Family and I have been living all but seperate lives for the past four years (i.e they home in Cape Town and me anywhere else that I can earn a living).

Having read all the requirements of Dept. of Home Affairs I understand that there are only 3 ways for expats to Legally (married to S.A. Citizens or not) to enter S.A.

1) To have a Current Job Offer (Difficult to find and even more difficult to get the "Required Work Permit).

2) To have initally married a citizen who is Finanically Secure.

3) To be Personally Finanically Secure to the tune of ZAR1,500,000 (even in rands this is a whole lot of money).

I am a home owner in Cape Town and quite willing (given the oppertuinity) to work to continue to support my family.

The problem being that unless I (and as I understand it,) fit into one of the three catergories as stated above, I have no chance of joining my family.

"CAN THIS REALLY BE TRUE," is it really the intention of the S.A. Government to keep families seperated.

Any help/advice appricated.

Regards

Gilbert

Some of the Koh Samui villas are set on peaceful hills adjoining sea. So, when a sea wave hits the big boulders below, you are actually able to experience some butterflies in your stomachs. Such is the experience of the exotic locales where these Samui villas are located. The villas are located in peaceful places, but not much far from action. You can anytime visit the flee market to buy exotic sea shells, or belts made from fish’s skin for you dear and near ones.
