I need to learn Afrikaans

Hey! Could any of you tell me of any good programs for learning Afrikaans? I know about Learn Afrikaans Online for free at WWW.AFRIKAANS.US but I was wondering if there was a cd or something I could buy?

If your boyfriend is Afrikaans, just ask him to teach you.

Tell him: "As jy aanhou om vir my liefdesbriefies in Afrikaans te skryf dan kan jy gaan steek jou kop op 'n koei se kont en wag tot die bul jou kom holnaai."

Well....I, for one, can't wait to see what the reaction might be.

I hope you guys weren't sending brainardgirl away with some naughty message.

Cool

Hey just to let you all know...I am NOT saying that to my boyfriend. I did not fully figure out what it said, but I figured out enough to know that I do not want to say it to him. Okay, listen, it isn't like he makes me talk in Afrikaans or anything, this is what happened. He is the sweetest most caring guy I have ever met, and he never pressed me to learn the language, he just told me that if I was going to marry him and move to his country it would be nice for me to at some point learn the language. Also I plan to go to bible school there so I want to learn it. I have not asked him because he is in SA and I am here in WI, and I don't get to talk to him a lot. When we do talk and talk and talk and talk and talk about other things. I don't know if he would even know where to find a good program, but my friend just got me one.

yes, because he is in another country from me, HE cannot teach me right now. I have to learn so that when we can finally be together again, we can talk instead of spending out time learning the language.

Some of the Koh Samui villas are set on peaceful hills adjoining sea. So, when a sea wave hits the big boulders below, you are actually able to experience some butterflies in your stomachs. Such is the experience of the exotic locales where these Samui villas are located. The villas are located in peaceful places, but not much far from action. You can anytime visit the flee market to buy exotic sea shells, or belts made from fish’s skin for you dear and near ones.
