I am a new member to this site and what got me most interested in joining was; as a student of Urban and Regional Geography I was woundering whether anyone could tell me about new iniatives, either by the community or policy makers, on the clear problem with the shortage of housing especially concerning the most poor of the population, who struggle to pay for any kind of home and often don't get one.

i can only comment on what i have seen, some areas in the townships have been upgraded, some haven't. from what i have seen, they remain mostly as they where, the only difference is that they are far larger than they originally where(the townships that is).

Some of the Koh Samui villas are set on peaceful hills adjoining sea. So, when a sea wave hits the big boulders below, you are actually able to experience some butterflies in your stomachs. Such is the experience of the exotic locales where these Samui villas are located. The villas are located in peaceful places, but not much far from action. You can anytime visit the flee market to buy exotic sea shells, or belts made from fish’s skin for you dear and near ones.
