Nubianman, both Jaybang and Fufuball are both against African progress. Fufuball is not African at all, that is why she is against blacks getting the land back. Instead she has the audacity to say that Africans should share the land which was stolen from them. She claims to be Latin American, but she definitely is not black.

Mr. Tiger32 is now putting words in my mouth slandering again and getting an express

ticket to his own hell.

Mr. Tiger now you are Miss Cleo the psychic and know what color I am? What a total idiot you are. I would jump for joy if Africa became powerful and strong and could fix their economic problems. I only want African progress in all things always. They deserve the best of the best in every endeavor and in every way. But how to get there? Mandela whom I admire....never advocated ousting every single non Black South African from the country. Why don't you ask why he did not? Instead of sticking words in my mouth. And for your information Mr. Tiger the greatest Nationalist leader in our island's history was Black. The most extensive library collection for the in depth study of African culture is in the NEW YORK PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM and it is called the Arturo Schoemberg collection. And Arturo was a Puerto Rican who spoke Spanish and was Latin American and from the Caribbean. Now asked who he was he said "I am a Puerto Rican first always because that is my nation and they love, accept and understand me best. And Africa lives in all our hearts on the island." Now Mr. Tiger I don't care what you think just don't be an idiot slandering people especially when you don't know anything about them. It justs makes you look like a fool. Lol

Fufuball.

P.S. Now tiger man I have one final question for you...what is Fufu? Hint. It is a style of food eaten by Africans in which nation? Did you know that? No? or Yes? and if it is yes...what is the food made of? Or are you just on paper African? Lol.

Of course I know that Fufu is an African dish, but just because someone likes African food, does not necessarily make them African.

If by some chance you are African, than I would regard you as a very unconcious person. Particularly, given everything that has been done to Africans by Europeans and the Oppression that continues today.

Hiya Fufu,

I seem to fall into the trap of generalisation sometimes, the trap that Tiger Mouse seems to be in all the time. It was incorrect to say Americans, or even black Americans... being that the only people I was really referring to are people like Tiger and the others on this site of similar attitude. (Even though he is the exact representative of the generalisation in question... lol )

I am aware that attacking people through generalisation, means that you disregard the individual. I do try to stay clear of this, even though I slip up sometimes...

Catch you later,

ps. I think Tiger would be more familiar with Taco Bell, or Mc Donalds, then he would any African dish.

Blacks are faced with the same thing everywhere. There are unconscious and conscious ones but we are all in this battle together, that is one thing we must realise. Even the unconscious ones know the truth in their heart of hearts so there is really no point in pointing out the obvious apart from the fact that we need to unite and focus.
Do not let future generations ask us, Dad what did you do when all these whites were robbing, raping and killing our people? I cannot say I did nothing. Again I say, it is better for a man to die than to live a lie.

Nubianman. I was born in a small island in the Caribbean. We are about 4 million in number. I am trying to improve the circumstances of my nation and put my grain of sand in to help. I would like to learn more about South Africa and study Africa more than the 15 credits of African American studies I took in University in my undergraduate days. And the 9 credits in African studies I took. I came to this site to interact with native South Africans and learn about their country. I did not come here to get into long drawn out debates with African Americans on xyz issues....African Americans are about 38 or so million in the USA and still have a hard time trying to get Capitol Hill to address their legitimate and pressing concerns as a people living in a European descent dominated society...like the USA is. In my honest opinion if anyone has rights to anything in the USA besides the Native Americans (who have been treated shabbily by the USA government) it is the African Americans who worked, built and sacrificed for this USA and whose blood is soaked into the earth of every single state of the union.....but nowhere more than the Southern states who gave the USA the agricultural and raw materials and labor to build itself into the economic power it is today. There is no doubt in my mind that African Americans made the USA. Yet as a community they have had to fight for everything they have...and still have a long road to travel still. I don't know if going back to Africa like Liberia was founded or building more relationships with the liberated African nations is the solution to the African American sense of disenfranchisement. I do know that whatever AA's are going to do....they do it with passion, commitment and dedication. And I hope they get what they are looking for. I am part of a small nation with many problems and I work for our betterment. I happen to believe that learning about groups totally different to your own is the very definition of growth and expansion. I hope others agree. Otherwise we would never interact or learn from each other at all. Lol.

I think in African American history there were two schools of thought looking for similar goals but with totally different approaches to tackling the same problems. There were the MLK's and the Malcolm X's. I happen to really like the Malcolm X approach. But I am not an African American. I have an opinion on the subject conscious I am an outsider and not a fellow African American. But I see many similar problems...because human beings and human history has always similar dilemmas. Frankly, I think of people being very foolish. Africa is an ancient place...and the mother to so many great cultures, and traditions and realities. I think it is disgusting how such an important Continent is virtually ignored in the Universities, in the public schools and how African American youth do not have in depth knowledge about the land of their ancestors. How European children get to study in depth their Western Civilization and how African history and peoples are glossed over in two paragraphs. I propose also that African Americans learn about places they do not know about too. Because they are ignorant about Latin America and Asia too. They are. And that contributes to the Europeans feeding the thought processes of they are the center of culture and life and history to minority children. Who do not identify with their reality. I say STUDY IT ALL. And keep going until you can make sense of things. Lol.

Blacks and Whites

Everyone here is missing the point.
Historically, Afrikaners are not 'invaders.' They were themselves 'disillusioned Europeans' and persecuted. The French Hugenots came to SA in the late 1680s. They were persecuted by the Catholics. The Dutch Calvinists and German protestants were likewise maltreated by Catholics.
Their coming to SA was, for them, a salvation.

It was obivious that in SA, like in Europe, these men would be a minority. They were persecuted in Europe and now they did not want to be persecuted in Africa. Admittedly, they took things too far 'down the road.' Their impulse to avoid persecution resulted in their being overbearing. In time,
the evils of slavery and segregation developed. But white South Africans today (especially the ones who hated Apartheid) should not be punished for the misdirected impulses of their ancesters. And before people say white South Africans don't belong in SA (which is a disgusting point of view to have), they ought to step back and consider the benefits of colonization. Look at South African universities: they are excellent and are largely the benefit of British colonization. In fact, the white settlers were the ones who organized SA into a country. It was a huge success: SA is the best economic base in the whole of Africa. Not to mention Afrikaans literature, which sure enough rivals anything in the world.

And since the removal of a white government SA has declined. Crime is way up. Apartheid was evil, yes, but the new SA is not without its problems. It happens to be among the rape capitals of the world. An ideal SA would consist, one would think, of a sharing of black and white power. Why blacks? Because they are the majority and were there first. Why whites? Because they 'founded' the country and gave it a unqiue situation which led to its being a powerful economic base. No one likes being a minority. And whoever the minority is, they get screwed over.

Perhaps that is what your racist school taught you about the Afrikaners, but the truth is they stole the land from the indigenous people. They are just as racist as the British, if not more.

But I know Justice will prevail in the 21st century, as the Indigenous people gets back all of their stolen land. You can bank on it.

Zimbabwe serves as a reminder to you!

indeed, and as I have said , not to long ago... Tiger don't even really know who this beautiful land belongs to anyhow. he thinks it is the BLACK people, as in dark-skinned "AFRICAN-AMERICAN" "BROTHER" .... well he has no clue. He did not do military Service in SWA, He never got his life, and that of his unit, saved and saved and saved again..... by a small little man talking a very weird language, and that could read a track 3 weeks old, as if it was emailed to him....
a Little man that was willing to give his life, for these "WHITE-BASTARDS" that was giving there lives to keep his desert from falling into Communist hands. This little man Died at the hands of 7 BLACK men, They had AK47's and they executed him for helping these "WHITE-BASTARDS".....

SO I say again... TIGER, you have no clue... the Land belongs to Namonib and his people. IT does not belong to the BLACKS or the WHITES......
but that is hardly the point, now is it... Why don't we all just jump off the planet. We are all from Mars anyhow.... well ok just us humans, that is...

According to T.C. Lethbridge, "The Legend of the Sons of God," Martians came here and mixed with the humans.

To all my brothers out their, I appeal to you all not to taken for granted ever again. We were once naive through our loving and good natured ways but should we allow ourselves to be deceived ever again by the Europeans, the next generation would never forgive us.

Now is the time to listen to your heart and address the issues that weaken us as a people. And may God bless you all and give us the strength to overcome our enemies.
