Following a very successful event in 2010 competitors are no doubt looking forward to the Discovery Surfers Challenge 2011 which is set to take place on 12 February. With a history going right back to 1975, this annual event draws more competitors each year as they rise to the challenge of traversing a route that includes sand, rocks, boulders and rivers.

Description:

Having started off with 36 competitors, the event has grown to around 2,000 and includes categories that offer just about everyone the opportunity to enjoy a day of sun, sand and surf in this awesome part of the Eastern Cape. Go to www.surferschallenge.co.za for more information.
