Canadian rock singer Avril Lavigne is heading to South Africa this May to perform in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. The event has been made possible by Edgars and 5fm and promises to be a night to remember.
Avril Lavigne hit the music scene in the summer of 2002 at the age of just seventeen. The wild-child's hard-core edge to fun, funky tunes has shifted the direction of pop music. After making her entrance into the music world, Avril headed for Los Angeles where she met producer/songwriter Clif Magness. It also remained in the Top 10 albums for over 30 weeks. Every single that has been released has gone to number 1 on the Billboard Charts.
