Get Your Ticket for My Coke Fest 2008

The My Coke Fest 2007, a festival of music with legendary musicians, was a roaring success. Thousands of screaming fans filled the stadiums to hear bands such as The Parlotones, Staind, Taxi Violence, The Springbok Nude Girls, Evolver, 3 Doors Down and Hoobastank. This year, the line-up for the My Coke Fest 2008 is just as impressive as the previous year and fans are already securing their tickets to ensure that they do not miss out on seeing their favorite bands and artists.

Johannesburg, South Africa, will host the first My Coke Fest 2008 at the New Market Racetrack on the 21st of March 2008, forming part of the two concert festival. This magnificent music extravaganza is brought to the enthusiastic public in South Africa by Coca Cola, Big Concerts and 5FM. Together, the organizers have ensured that there is a star studded concert that features ten of the most popular international and local sensations. On 24 March 2008, the concert will move to the Kenilworth Racetrack in Cape Town.

The exciting twelve hour concert program includes bands such as the Kaiser Chiefs, Chris Cornell, Good Charlotte, KOЯN, Prime Circle and Muse. Recently, 5FM announced that the platinum 30 Seconds to Mars will also be performing, causing a great stir of anticipation. Organizers of the concerts have gone to great lengths to ensure that the My Coke Fest has a world class line-up and that this year the music festival will meet everyone’s expectations.

The gates for the concerts will open at ten in the morning, with the concert kicking off at twelve midday. Tickets to the festival can be bought through Computicket, and prices range from R600 for the Golden Circle, R400 for general admissions and student admissions are priced at R330 per person.

Both Johannesburg and Cape Town will come alive in March as the My Coke Fest 2008 gets underway. It is guaranteed to be a concert of a lifetime that will showcase some of the most talented artists of our time. With such big names confirmed for the festival, many fans will be rushing to purchase their tickets in advance and wait for the concert that will set South Africa on fire.
