Coca Cola Colab Massive Mix Concert

The long awaited Coca Cola Colab Massive Mix Concert has Many South Africans buzzing. For the first time ever in South Africa, Coca-Cola, Big Concerts and 5Fm have joined forces to present the biggest international music festival that the country has ever seen. The twelve-hour world-class event will be showcasing some of the best in both international and local talent. It is earmarked as THE event for 2006.

The festival will be featuring a diverse mixture of rock and electronic music. It is set to kick off on the 18th of March 2006 in Pretoria, then moves on to Durban before ending with a bang in Cape Town. Thus far the impressive mixture of artists features the rock gods Metallica, the legendary Collective Soul, the internationally renowned South African band Seether and the locally worshiped Arno Carstens of Springbok Nude Girl fame.

Also set to take to the stage are Simple Plan, The Rasmus, Fatboy Slim, Prime Circle, The Finkelsteins, the Parlotones, Flat Stanley, State Far Better, Karen Zoid, Fokofpolisiekar, Sitter and the SpoonFeedas. With such an impressive line up tickets are going fast, even though they average around R500 for golden circle and R400 for cheaper embankment tickets. Each artist will perform for about 45 minutes to an hour and there will be two stages side-by-side to ensure that all twelve hours of entertainment will be completely unbroken. Tickets are on sale through Computicket and the days events start at 12 noon for each concert.
